The Christian Mission Statement: To know God and to make him known.
To know Him is not simply to gain more and more knowledge about Him, but to share an intimate communion with Him. To have fellowship with Him in the manner of Abraham and Moses.
Genesis 18 brings out the delight of fellowship between Abraham and God. As compared with simply feeling His presence occasionally in prayer, it is a level of intimacy in which you never even need to ask Him to show you His will. Where your common sense decisions are actually His will for you. A level of intimacy where you know that if your decisions are wrong He will produce a sense of restraint brought on by a check in your spirit. And that you will stop immediately.
When you have a right-standing relationship with God, you have a life of freedom, liberty, power and delight. You are God’s will.
