Surrendered. Obedient. Bondservant.
Surrender leads to the Holy Spirit’s indwelling. Obedience leads to the overflowing of God’s blessing, mercy and grace. The only sapient response is to bind yourself to the altar as a bondservant of Jesus Christ.

The word of the day is bondservant. In its Biblical usage it means someone absolutely devoted to Jesus. As in “I am the bondservant of my Lord Jesus Christ.” Spend the day reflecting on what that means. There will be a test later.
